Overview

We are seeking a forward-thinking, hands-on IT Senior Manager to lead and execute a diverse portfolio of technology initiatives. This role will oversee day to day operations and relationships as well as projects ranging from AI Integration, Workforce Automation to Salesforce CRM enhancements. The ideal candidate combines strategic vision with the ability to roll up their sleeves when needed—supporting networking, infrastructure, Wi‑Fi, and related troubleshooting tasks.
This position will also own the organization’s go-forward IT strategy, serve as the primary leader for technical vendor management, and ensure ongoing information security and compliance across the enterprise.
This is a full time, in-office, position, located in our Worthington, Ohio office. 

 

Key Responsibilities

Project & Program Leadership

  • Manage and deliver multiple concurrent IT projects, including:
  • Build and maintain detailed project plans, roadmaps, and resource schedules.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to executive stakeholders.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with business units, developers, and external partners.

IT Strategy & Roadmap Ownership

  • Develop and maintain the company’s long-term IT strategy in alignment with business goals.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations on modernization, digital transformation, and efficiency opportunities.
  • Define standards and best practices across systems, infrastructure, security, and support processes.

Technical Vendor Management

  • Lead vendor selection, contracting, onboarding, and performance management for IT service providers and technology partners.
  • Ensure service delivery meets operational expectations, SLAs, and budget constraints.
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors supporting infrastructure, cloud, SaaS, and security platforms.

Information Security & Compliance

  • Oversee security policies, access controls, and compliance with industry best practices.
  • Partner with internal teams and vendors to ensure proactive risk management, vulnerability mitigation, and incident response readiness.
  • Assist in security audits, risk assessments, and documentation.

Hands-On Technical Support

  • Provide escalation-level troubleshooting and support for:
    • Network infrastructure (switching, routing, firewalls)
    • Wi‑Fi systems and performance optimization
    • Server, storage, and cloud environments
    • End-user hardware and software issues as needed
  • Collaborate with IT staff and vendors to resolve complex issues efficiently.
 

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 7+ years of IT management or IT leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple concurrent technology projects.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure (networking, servers, cloud, and Wi-Fi).
  • Experience with information security frameworks or practices.
  • Ability to work in both strategic and tactical capacities— must be comfortable leading at the whiteboard or jumping into troubleshooting mode.
  • Exceptional communication, organization, and vendor management skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with digital transformation.
  • Knowledge of technical certifications (Microsoft, Azure, etc.).
